It Doesn’t Have to Be Like This

We all have lives that demand a ton and throw things at us constantly. The slow creep of stress and fatigue always seems to build. Parts of your body that used to feel good become places of pain and discomfort. Sometimes just getting things moving in the morning seems a chore. A sound night’s sleep sometimes seems like an elusive dream. You’re short-tempered with people I love.

What if starting with some easy, flowing activities practiced regularly, maybe starting with as little as 10 minutes a day, you could

  • Brighten your future
  • Add clarity to your thinking and outlook on life
  • Ease and manage nagging pain and discomfort
  • Give yourself the solid footing to enrich your life and your relationships for the rest of your life.

What is Qi and Qigong?

Qi – the vital energy. The energy force that moves through your body yet exists independently of it.

Over 3,000 years ago, Chinese masters developed practices to cultivate life energy (qi) for health, spiritual growth, and the martial arts. Founded in the eastern wisdom traditions, practices that today are referred to as qigong grew and became perfected.

Natural health and vitality are abundant when qi is free-flowing through the pathways in our body. With long-term stress or pent up, life traumas, qi gets blocked like a clog in a pipe. That’s when things start to go haywire. Aches, pains, high blood pressure, anxiety – all can be linked to blockages of the flow of qi.

Qigong is a collection of practices that combine body, breath, and mind to activate and revitalize the flow of your internal energy to improve the functions of your organs, endocrine and immune systems, and your brain and neurological systems.

Although hundreds of different schools and practices have emerged from the ages, all Qigong methods have a fundamental goal of promoting the unobstructed movement of qi through the blood, nerves, and tissues of the body.

Qi Gong is simple, easy to learn, and can be done by everyone, at any age and fitness level.
