I’ve just finished Ray Anderson’s book “Confessions of a Radical Industrialist”. Ray is the rock-star of green capitalists. His company, Interface, has experienced astounding growth in carpet manufacturing by radical greening of its manufacturing. Ray talks about Walmart and its leadership. Walmart set 3 goals – to be supplied 100 percent by renewable energy; to create zero waste; and to sell products that sustain people and the environment. It has big power to influence the behavior of all of its suppliers – a huge positive global impact.
Climate deniers, be ware. Major corporations are seeing economic advantage in carefully watching their footprint.
