Last October, the Huffington Post published The 19 Most Beautiful Places In The World Are Hidden In America. Incredibly (or not so incredibly, because I think our national parks are all amazing), the Huff Post cited 7 national park places in the list. I’ve visited several of these and many more in other parks. It is truly inspiring to sit on top of Longs Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park at 14,000 feet and look across the plains of Colorado, or to be mesmerized by the sunrise over the clouds and ocean from Haleakala in Hawaii, or to experience the evening sun on the green spring grass contrasted against the brown cliffs of the Badlands in South Dakota. Amazing! Enjoy these photos and read the full article at the Huffington Post.
